This is a heads up that we are currently in the middle of updating guides accross the site. This will be an ongoing process over the next few days to get everything switched over.
The new guides system will be searchable with the Help link that you can now find in the sidebar.
We are still converting all the guides to this new system, so you may not find them with the search right away, but eventually you'll be able to find all guides through the guide search.
In order to prevent stat transfer exploits, transformation items will reset stats on adopts.
We have added a [locktrans] bio code to help prevent accidental transformations on adopts as well.
There is now a feature to allow items and species creators to determine stat increase items!
Item Creators - to allow your item to be used for stat increases, go into your item management panel and select a stat increase category (this is right under collection category and capture category) that seems most fitting.
Species Creators - to allow adopts of your species to be given stat increases via item use, go into your species panel and select a category for whichever stats you want to be increasable.
Players - Depending on creator settings, you may now be able to increase the stats of adopts using items from your inventory! This option will show up for elligible items when you go to use them, and will provide a list of any adopts with elligible stats to be increased.
It might take a while to start seeing more stat increase items and species being turned on, since these are all turned off by default.
There is a new setting (in your account settings) for gameplay style. This feature is still in development and will be expanded on as time goes by.
Regular (default - the default gameplay style is recommended for mobile users and new players. It has all the features you will ever need in a compact design that is optimized for mobile devices (less scrolling and easy to learn).
Advanced - this option is designed for more hardcore players who are already familiar with the game and want more out of it. It also works with mobile devices, though might require more scrolling due to having supplementary displays and more in-depth options.
This toggle was added to allow veteran or desktop players to have access to more bells and whistles that may be confusing to newbies, and add a bit more scrolling on mobile.
Currently, the only difference between these is that there is more information on explore and inventories. More will be added later.
