The hatching feature has been recoded! You can now add eggs more intuitively through the species pannel.
Gender ratios and rarities have now been added to the new hatching system.
Player shops now have two options for auto pricing!
For advancedusers, you can now fill all price fields automatically. This can be useful if you want to, say, price everything at 500 PTS and then change a few items here and there.
For upgraded players, there is now a full fledged autopricer. This will set all items in your shop to 1 PTS lower than the lowest current prices. It can be done (at most) once every 24 hours.

An official release may be a couple years away, but we want to have plenty of time to finish development.
Also keep in mind that 4dopt will continue to be developed after release. These are just things that you think are needed BEFORE an official release. They can be features, fixes, and anything else that you think specifically needs improvement.
Important announcement about Hyper Energy and Mass Explore!
Hyper Energy (the item) is going to be given a maximum limit of 300 adopts for a total of 30,000 possible energy (rather than being limitless like it is now).
Mass Explore is being buffed to give raw account EXP, adopt EXP, pts, and item slots.
These updates will take effect January 20th after 6PM 4dopt time.
The limit is being added A) to prevent exploitability of Hyper Energy that could cause sitewide crashing later and B) because of the upcoming buffs to Mass Explore.
Notes for players about using Hyper Energy before this update:
- You will get MORE energy from using the potion BEFORE the update IF you have more than 300 active adopts. However...
- You will get MORE yields from Mass Explore by using the energy AFTER this update.
- Don't forget! Adopts will NOT regenerate daily energy if they already have 100 energy. So...
Here's a tip for players who want to capitalize on this update! This will only benefit you if you have a Hyper Energy potion and over 300 active slots on your account.
1. Wait until January 20th before 6PM 4dopt time.
2. Completely fill your active slots (not storage slots).
3. Use Hypper Energy, it will give +100 energy to ALL active adopts (not adopts in storage).
4. When you see the January 20th Mass Explore update after 6PM, use the new Mass Explore and get higher yields!
There are now icons in inventories for main function (adopt exp has been changed to a red ribbon), catch type, stat increase type, and species transformability. These have been switched to advanced gameplay style.
Approvals page is now accessible to users at level 10 instead of 50. There is also now a level 10 requirement for artists applications.
Collection indicators that tell you if you've collected an item have now been moved to the advanced player mode. Basic player mode will no longer show this. Additionally, exact quantities have been added for advanced users and this feature has been expanded to the explore spawn info!
The recolor items system has been completely rehauled, including transferring the recolor item data to its own table. This new code and data structure will allow us to make the feature more versatil.
Multiple recolor items can now be assigned in the species panel. This is meant to be a fallback in case certain items become too difficult or impossible to find. The first item that appears is the one that will be checked first. If the player has it in their inventory, it will be used. Otherwise it fall back to the next item. Players can remove an item from their inventory if they don't want it to be used, and creators can change the item priority by removing and re-adding them in the special panel.
